It was a wonderful experience staying in shangrilla. All the people were nice and their service were very prompt. Breakfast with a view of kanchanjhanga was something special for me. Love this place . Would like to come again

very friendly & helpful staff esp the manager Mr. Deepak, who also spoke our Lang Kannada &Tamil beingan Assamese, was very friendly. Simran from house keeping kept our room clean. Good food . had a nice time for 4N/5D

We visited this hotel in Nov 2023. I have particularly searched in google as ‘ pet friendly hotels in Gangtok’ and it came up with multiple results. We chose Denzong Shangrila amongst the other hotels since it was the mentioned as pet friendly. FYI we drove all the way from Kolkata to Gangtok at a stretch,me with my husband and our pet dog . I have tried to call this hotel but noone picked up and confirmed whether it is pet friendly or not. Finally when we reached after 23 hrs of long journey, they said in the reception that this hotel is not pet friendly. Also they made us wait for half an hour, discussed over call and finally told us this is not pet friendly. Again we had to drive with our dog for more than one hour to get a decent pet friendly hotel ( btw we are thoroughly impressed by Dream Glory Hotel’s hospitality). Now when I am writing down this review this hotel removed the tag as pet friendly since we already told them that we will give google review. We had to suffer and drive for more than an hour for their unprofessionalism .

I stayed for 4 days at this property, and booked a superior room, as claimed in reality there is no mountain view. I got the room on the 1st floor.Though the room is big in size but the bathroom conditions are not up to the mark. Very small …

I stayed in this hotel from 18th to 26th July 2023 and the experience was wonderful. The rooftop restaurant has blissful views of the hills and I could see the clouds settling in. It's quiet, luxurious and the food is absolutely great, you must try their momos and thukpas as they have authentic chef's. Once you're in, do meet Mr. Raj Subba, a charismatic gentleman who happens to be the general manager as well. He took good care of me and I was very well taken care by Ankit Sarma, Kiran, two other young men at the restaurant, one of them I guess is Pavan, Rong Nyu at reception and of course chef Swaraj who is a magician at making momos. This stay has been a very memorable for me and I will never forget this experience as it will be in my memories forever. I have also happened to meet the owners family and they are very caring and sweet. I would really wish to be back, of course during off seasons as that's when I take the advantage of travelling
